this is minor and can be worked around with a little fanagling (is that a word ? lol)
ok, the set up... you have 250+ A/c at a base.. looking at the bottom , you the line of different A/c and the arrow button to look at the remaining groups on the second page....
ok
lets say, you have two patrols able to air transport on the first page and two c-47 transports on the second page... you want to move units via air transport, so you start by selecting your patrols, set the destination, and select the unit to be transfered... all works fine here, then click on the arrow to get the second list of A/c, and select the C-47. now repeat this, and you are unable to select a destinaion. it will allow you to select a unit to load, but unable to select a destination...
the work-around I found, was that any A/c on the first line (list) across the bottom accepts all orders ... once you click on the arrow, you have to select the c-47 and tell it to transport supplies, then click on a destination(this works), then go back and select the tranport troops, and then select the unit to transport)
hope I explained this well :) anyway, seems you are unable to select a troop transport destination with any A/c on the second page of the list of A/c at a base, only the first page
