#1) suicidal airgroups. Real Example. You have 9 TiVa torp bombers that detect 4 Jap carriers. 6 go out to attack, without escort. Who would do such a thing!?!?!?!? And it happens ALL the time. I had Three B-17s go and attack AK's sitting in the northern PI three times over four days. with an enemy CAP of roughly 30 planes. Every time nobody comes back. They stopped when they ran out of B-17's. sigh.

#2) Movement speeds for ships just make no sense whatsoever. A US air combat group with the BB Tenesee in it (max speed 20, rest of ships 30/31) can go max of Three hexes per turn). Pull out the Tenesee and the move on full speed goes up to 6. That math makes no sense whatsoever.

#3) The political point system can really be irritating especially in the PI. Units trying to be transported to other points in the PI should NOT need to be made into other commands using political points. Same for Dutch Units. A unit in China can fight a fighting retreat that litterally spans 7000 miles no problem. A unit in the philipines may not be able to move fifty miles without political intervention.

#4) I keep getting subs shot once or twice in night surface attacks. The sub moves in, puts two torpedoes in a tanker, then opens up with its deck gun and lo and behold Marvin Deckhand and Barry Sealegs whips around a 3 or four inch deck gun on this damaged, crippled likely burning sinking ship (and I have checked several times, this isn't always a FOW issue, I have confirmed BADLY damaged ships doing this) and put a round right into the SS Suckstobeyou. While random chance heroics are fine, a surprised merchant at night hit with one or more torpedoes and then laided into with deck guns seems an unlikely candidate to be able to return much in the way of fire.

#5) I have had several captains die when a damaged ship reaches port and eventually sinks. Once a ship is docked this seems unlikely to me.

#6) Do Supply loaded Transports have a chance of "Massive Explosions" etc? They should, Its very annoying to hit three or four fully loaded supply transports only to find out that thier cargo has the fire and volatility characteristics of fire retardant foam.

1. I play as the IJN, I like it.

2. Have not noticed, but I use ships in the same TF that all have about the same speed.

3. Ah, but you know where you want them to go, but the computer does not know where you will send them.

4. Its called heroic defense.

5. Sticking with Navy tradition "Captain goes down with the ship".

6. Have not noticed. Put 2 torps into a AK/TK and it sinks. But I do not think cargo contents are factored in. I have seen "massive Damage" reports from attack on them.
