Hello all

Im enjoying WitP a lot, playing through first the Coral Sea scenario and now the Guadalcanal longer campaig. Managed to sink Wasp (damaged by torpedoes and then blasted in naval combat with Yamato, how cool can that be! Praise the AI) and Enterprise.

I do however have two questions that I haven been able to clarify reading the nice manual:

1. The Japanese CV planes got pretty much attrited in the air battles. So I thought that I would merge the depleted squadrons in the big CV's with the squadrons in the small CVL. However, the option to disband does not appear when planes are in the carriers. I transfered them to bases and then tried there, but a message appeared (very very briefly) on screen stating that carrier plane groups cannot be disbanded. Is that so?

2. When transferring planes from one base to the other only the ready planes do so, leaving behind the damaged ones. I guess this is reasonable and intended. correct?

3. There seems to be a hardwired automatic convoy system in the small scenarios such as Guadalcanal, and TF are created in Truk and then sent to some empty islands to store fuel there (for example). Is there a way to modify this automatic convoy? the options in the task bar are not available as in the larger campaigns

Thanks a lot for the support

Pablo

Yes, damage Planes are not fly. If the damage planes repairs, it wont to follow.
