Grumbler just posted a complaint burried deap in another thread about the Allied perpective title of WitP. I agree, and think that should be pulled out into it's own thread. I was also thinking of the subtitle, "Japan's Bid for Empire", which was one of two Grumbler suggested. What do the rest of you think???

Keep them coming but I will not make any promises. I also think this is really a minor point. The game design and features really are more important.

I wasn't even born then, so I'm not sure who this "we" is. I agree that it is a fairly minor point, but it does indicate a bias of the game designers if that is the name that naturally came to their minds. The War in the Pacific was a struggle by many sides, each of which had its own reasons for struggling. Some were against Japan, some were in favor of it. When the game hits the marketplace, its subtitle will indicate that this is a game to be played as the Allied player, since only the Allied player can "struggle against Japan." If that is what the designers have in mind, that is fine. I personally would prefer a game that allows you to take either side without losing the main focus of the game.
