Can someone confirm this for 1.3 Patch?

Notice of arrivals, reinforcements and location will now appear in the Operational Report!

Thanks

Confirmed ... No

(I might change this at a later date though)

According to this thread there is nothing about this in the 1.30 patch.

This has been requested (by myself among others) but the big problem with implementing it has been said to be that both sides read the same Operations Report. Therefore your opponent would also be informed in detail of your reinforcements. I am a little dubious about that as base expansions are listed in Operations but I haven't seen any of those for enemy bases yet.

Would you please stop responding while I'm in the middle of typing a response? Thank you.

Maybe this should be added to the intel report?, both sides don't get the same intel, do they?

The basic problem with adding *anything* to the Operational Report is that it is *free* information given to both sides. It defeats the purpose of the Variable & Very Variable settings if you get told when your enemies CV's just showed up.

Even the current leaks are bad in my eyes, but we seem to have two followings of folks when it comes to Fog of War.

Some want hardcore FoW, the others want softcore FoW and don't see this as a bad thing to see this kind of info.

I'm in the hardcore following with no information displayed at all including aircraft losses in the Info panel for the enemy.

I also would fall in the hardcore category.

But I would like something that tells me when and where a ship, reinforcement arrived for PBEM. It gets kind of tedious searching the main bases every turn checking things out. Even though I try and keep a running tab of notes of who, when, where they arrive when they are 10 days out. Forget to do it 1 or 2 turns and you have units sitting around playing tiddly winks.

Lengthens turn length having to check reinforcement lists prior to each turn, worse if ya forget a few times.

"I'm in the hardcore following with no information displayed at all including aircraft losses in the Info panel for the enemy."

You shouldn't get any info on the enemy you don't get via intel or AAR's at all. "Loss" info should reflect what you see in your AAR's with FoW on. Your pilots tell you they shot down 100 planes, or sank a battleship, then that's what you should see. The only accurate enemy info you should see is the points totals.

It would be nice to see an "Intel Folder" opened on each enemy ship, unit, or base once you're reconned or engaged it (and it's ID'ed). Each time you make contact with that unit or base or recon them, its intel folder gets updated with the new intel. You

To be truly hardcore I'd want to only see the total points, if even that, for my opponent.
