The 503 Panzer states it is comprised of "(Mk VI)", but the silhouette shows a Panther Mk V.

1st SS Panzerjager shows as JgVI with a silhouette of an Elefant but was not equipped with them as I recall.

Also, in TAO, 519 s.PanzerJager (JgV/JgIV) is shown w/ a JgVI silhouette.

Another in TAO, this time "von der Heydte" is misspelled ("Heyte").

A couple more small quibbles from the Overlord Campaign, both the 654 and 658 PanzerJager (JgV - JagdPanther) have silhouettes of a Jagdpanzer IV.

- The 503 Schwere Panzer battalion had Tigers and King Tigers. Actually it was the only unit equiped with King Tigers in Normandy. So it should include "(MkVI/MkVIB)" in its name, and the silhouette of a King Tiger.

- The 1st SS Panzerjager battalion had only StuG III assault guns. So it should include "(StuGIII)" in its name, and the silhouette of a StuG III.

- As it has been previously pointed out, the 654 Schwere PanzerJager battalion had JagdPanzer V tank destroyers. So it should include "(JgV)" in its name and the silhouette of a Jagdpanzer V. It seems that the silhouette of the Jagdpanzer V is not available in the "Battles in Normandy" folder. On the other hand, the silhouette of the Elefant is available. AFAIK, there were NO Elefants in Normandy, so the silhouette of the Jagdpanzer V should be included instead of that of the Elefant.

- The 22 Panzer Regiment (belonging to the 21 Panzer division) had mainly Panzer IV tanks. It included also some Panzer III tanks and some old Somua French tanks. So it should include "(MkIV)" in its name and the silhouette of a Panzer IV tank. The Panzer IV tanks were available on D-Day, and the unit actually counter-attacked using them on D-Day afternoon. So the current representation on the "Overlord" scenario where the "22 Panzer" starts with "38t" tanks, and is later upgraded to "MkIV/MkV" tanks around turn 20, is erroneous. That unit never had Panzer V tanks (at least in Normandy), and it started D-day with its Panzer IV tanks available.

These data can be found in the book "Panzers in Normandy: Then and Now", for example, and they have been corroborated with other books.

To finish, let me make a little suggestion: I have seen that you are using the "British" names to designate the german tanks (MkIV, MkV). Why don´t you use the "German" names for them (PzIV, PzV for example)? I think they would be much more adequate. In the same way I would like to see the name of the main combat vehicles in all the units that have them (including for example the recon units). Is it possible to implement my suggestions?

Thank you very much for your help !!!

Txema, there's definitely a JgPzV silhouette in TAO4, so there should definitely be one available for BIN. They just need to get these things straight if they're going to use the silhouettes at all (i.e., they should be meaningful).

Here you have an EXCELLENT on-line resource on the German OOB in Normandy.

http://w1.183.telia.com/~u18313395/normandy/index.html

The author has recently published a book about the topic.

Developers, please, check the information in this site to fix the errors present in the OOB.

Thanks !!!

I noticed that the German 319 infantry division is part of the German setup in the Overlord scenario. Wasn't this unit located on the Channel Islands and never made it to Normandy?
