Hi, is there any way to set some intermediate waypoints for task force movement? I want to route supplies from Pearl to the southwest pacific and of course it sets a straight line, right through the Gilberts which are in the hands of the Japanese!!! I'm getting around this by setting a DH around Pago Pago but then I've got to continually follow up with a new DH when they get down there.
I've also got some B-18's that are waiting to upgrade to B-17c's but I don't think B-17c's are being produced anymore (B-17e's are). Is there any way to change the upgrade type to something else or do I just have to disband the obsolete B-18 groups?
Lastly, I've loaded up an AK with supplies hoping to make some PT boats or barges but even after the ship is loaded at Pearl there are no buttons to click to make PT's/barges. Any help?

There are no waypoints. Set your fianal destination as your home and your DH as some place that will take you safely by any dangerous bases. Check and make sure your fuel doesn't turn red

To get pt or barges create a transport tf and fill with supplies and the buttons will activate. Don't make them until you get to your destination. they are very shortlegged and immediately reset their home and destinations

No, you can't skip an upgrade, but you can make two upgrades with the same air unit on the same turn, one right after the other.

PT boats and barges cannot be created without limit. There are maximum numbers that can be created, listed under one of the Intelligence details screens (Ship Availablility IIRC).

*IF* you let the computer handle the upgrade then you can go two ahead, the 11th Bomb Group for example goes from B-18 to B-17C then B-17E. Set the 11th to upgrade and leave it alone, the computer will look each turn to see if there are enough B-17C's for the upgrade and of course there will not.. It will also look up to the B-17E's and if there are 64 in the pool it will skip the 17C and upgrade directly to 17E's (Skipping the C's)

If you manually upgrade then it is only normally one upgrade per turn.
