Has not anyone picked this up yet? Ron I sent David an email, and can play a few hours a day currently... ok, more than a few.

Well, Bosun has volunteered but it would be interesting to play from this point vs a few players to see the varying approaches. Dave and I were really pumping out the turns so I've got lots of free time right now too. The original was in slot 13, the only one I've got running waiting for the patch. I'm assuming Bosun will use 13. Make sure ya saveit under a different slot.

When Dave sends ya the save, it is Lemurs' 3.1. No need to get the mod. Dave will send password.

Sooo Freeboy,
We'll both be hunting the crafty canuk. Don't have time for an AAR, but it would be fun to post results occasionally. Especially the differences.

I don't think OOB are changed in pre 1.3 games. So probably no torps for Sally.
Thats why I'm waiting for the patch to take on my other venerable worthy PBEM foes.
The AAR sounds good. I can post occasionally as time permits.

Dave's been hurting me enough! Biggest ship lost is Boise, but he used KB vs Manila rather than PH and gutted the US Asiatic sub force...not that the subs do squat with doctrine on anyway...had five attacks by end of March 42...one sinking. Jap CVL Hosho took five 500lb bombs from high altitude B17Ds (LOL) and CV Zuikaku took two Albacore delivered torps. Both are being repaired....no word of their demise anyway.

Japan controls Rangoon and Chandpur! All but isolated bases of PI is under Japanese canvas slippers, as is Borneo and Celebes. Java and Sumatra still Dutch. Solomons mainly Jap.

Yeah, I will post AAR updates as well.

I'm waiting for Lemurs updated scenario which includes all the ommitted USN vessels victimized by spawning feature. (All one has to do is keep spawned units in port).

Hey, it helps RON if you email me that you are accepting players over here. I check email first before here. I knew about Bosun, but did not know about Freeboy.

Freeboy resend me an email at acproincDavidMitchell@msn.com and I will shoot you the turn. I would suggest you both (you and Ron) rename the save to another slot to avoid confusion.

Thanks for the responses guys. I did not mean to kick off a political debate, but it was almost a certainty once I posted it. Alot here know where I stand on the issue, but the ones who do not can go to MadCows and find out real quick.

Guess I'm a little late here, but Good Luck to you and the rest of the squadron/regiment. Good thing you all are "Always Ready." Guess they're gearing up to protect the voting stations around Iraq. Yuck.

Keep your head down, and let's hope someone get ALL the boys back home soon.

Actually, I left active service in 1993 after 6 years. Just re-upped in the Guard on the 1st of October. Since I have played 3 years as a 11B (infantry) and 3 years as a 19D (cav scout) I figured to try something else. I went 21B (combat engineer) and they are currently training at Ft hood for deployment. My 1sgt is trying to cut the red tape (yeah right) and get me down to Hood on this Friday so I can get brought up to speed and deploy with them sice they are short bodies.

They will be doing convoy escort duty or so i have been told.

I hate Rush too. Geddy Lee's voice is like fingernails on chalkboard. Eeeeeeeeeeeeeee! Gordon Lightfoot is cool.

Blasphemer! Rush rules! You Canadians just don’t appreciate them. What was it Jesus said about a prophet not being recognized in his own town?
Rush’s lyrics have deep meaning. They require at least a little thought. Compare that to typical American pop music, or hip hop, or (c)rap.

Stay saf in Iraqi. I really hope a month from now we still have a president who supports you. Be sure to vote with your absentee ballot before shipping out.

I'd love to jump into this with both feet, but . . . In any event, both of the present candidates for president will support the troops 100% if elected/re-elected.

No they are in Rangoon and the base due NE of there. They will move or should if you give them a city destination instead of just a hex.
