I am going through the DFMC. Not sure what scenario I am into but am most of the way through. The next scenario was a Don LLewelyn scenario. I was to make my way through Acroma and head for Mechili. I was to exit the map. Don't go looking for trouble but deal with whatever comes up. First I don't see any exit hexes. So I proceed across the landscape. Eventually I capture every VH. I destroyed every piece of equipment and every infantry squad on the board. I did not lose one piece of equipment or infantry. After the battle I was berated for doing such a lousy job. Rommell was not very happy with my performance. The start of the next scenario tells me that we can't afford to have another performance like the last one.
I feel like I'm playing another game. The orders and the resultant commentary don't have anything to do with what I'm seeing. Anyone ever seen anything like this?

You've come across one of those scenarios where you have to exit your pieces off the map.
There should be exit hexes somewhere.

In cases like this - every unit you don't exit off the board is worth points to the enemy.

KNomad, I stand corrected on the exit hexes. There were 2 on the extreme West edge of the map, which is where I started at. Now I was supposed to move through Acroma to Mechili and then exit the map. There is no Acroma and Mechili and no other exit hexes. No labels showing towns or villages. "you must fight your way through and exit the area". That was my assignment.

Next scenario is a Drake scenario. I have to escort Rommel to Mechilli. But Mechilli is not on the map. There is Mersa el Braga. And there is no Rommel either. Just Colonel Dietsel. And no reinforcements scheduled to come later. I can see another failure coming here.... Probably be shot...
