2gaulle,

Can you please send a DxDiag file and all of your log files (located under the "Log" directory where you installed the game) to support@matrixgames.com? We should be able to figure out what is causing your problems...

2gaulle, that's yourself, Otticus and myself who have experienced this save game menu freeze.

I've found that the game's auto save function will have your last completed turn there to replay. However, not ideal and I lost an entire Scenario 2 battle in my most recent campaign (lost as in not auto-saved and gone forever ) but I believe Koios is working on it.

Is anything clickable under your frozen menu screen? My message scroll buttons and map mouse scroll work, I just can't get rid of the menu screen.

Adam.

Autosave should be saving every turn... you should not be having to fight entire battle again, at worst, just one turn right?

Also, we are trying to replicate the problem and so please send us the error log files.

thanks

Game plays flawlessly here without a single bug here.

(a) Upgrade your video drivers
(b) Upgrade your audio drivers
(c) Ensure DirectX is installed and working properly
(d) Upgrade your *motherboard* drivers
(e) Upgrade your *motherboard* bios (as required)

Ant one of these slightly out of sync means crashes and reboots.

2gaulle,

I do not believe that we have received your DxDiag files or log files. If you are still experiencing issues with the game, could you please send those files to support@matrixgames.com so that we can assit in any issues you may be having.

Thanks,
Deride

For anyone else reading this thread, we are working with 2gaulle to resolve his issues.

Please make sure that you upgrade your video card drivers to the latest version. Also, make sure that you video card meets minimum system requirements (in this case DirectX 9.0b compatible with at least 64MB of video memory.) If you have an older driver or only 32MBs of memory, the game will run slowly and/or encounter errors.

I will keep everyone posted if we encounter any other issues that require attention.

I have played the game on 4 different computers and have not had any problems at all!
One of my computers barely met the minimum requirements and it still ran ok.
I also have Total War as well. If I load up against 6 armies in a custom game, that always
seems to crash the game.
