I have mentioned this before admittedly, but times change (and the forum list has grown even longer). Isn't it about time, whomever is given the priviledge/thrill/responsibility od controlling the look of the forums, to address at least some sort of organizing? Here is currently just the list of games present at Matrix games forums. Tin Soldiers: Alexander the Great Battles in Normandy War In The Pacific - Struggle Against Japan 1941 - 1945 Starshatter Ultimate Space Combat FlashPoint Germany Gates of Troy Supremacy: Four Paths To Power Highway to the Reich Conquest of the Aegean Gary Grigsby's World at War Campaigns on the Danube 1805 - 1809 Guns of August 1914 - 1918 Empire in Arms the Napoleonic Wars of 1805 - 1815 Korsun Pocket Titans of Steel - Warring Suns Uncommon Valor - Campaign for the South Pacific Combined Arms: World War II (formerly Battlefields!) Combat Leader - Cross of Iron Close Assault - Code of Honor Starships Unlimited Divided Galaxies World in Flames Operation Barbarossa..Campaign add-on for IL2 Sturmovik and Forgotten Battles Steel Panthers World At War & Mega Campaigns Pacific War: The Matrix Edition War In Russia: The Matrix Edition Massive Assault at Wargaming.Net World War II Online at Playnet.com Heck of a list, 27 games given some level of interest credit or acknowledgement. Isn't sorted alphabetically (not that that is important). But it isn't sorted at all to the best of my ability to discern. Some of the above 27 game sections also contain yet further sub sections as well. Is it important they be sorted at all? Hmm I would think they could at least be sorted out a bit. My first suggestion would be to divide the games that actually exist, today, on sale, now from all the games that are merely ideas or works in progress. Not that those games are in some way less in worth than those that are already completed and on sale. But, I come to the forums (as do others) and I see a massive selection of games (with forums), and of course, I wonder, are thse games on sale, or are they just the comment forums for games that might be. Games like Close Assault, lead the pack of titles I think we have all decided (whether anyone likes to admit it) are unlikely to see the light of day any time soon (by that I mean in the next few years). And, considering it has been a few years snce CA was first even mentioned, you can hardly fault me for wondering, was there a point to ever making a singled out forum for that game. Games like Conquest of the Agean or Gary's World at War, I suspect most of us have no trouble assuming will show up close to on schedule. But I see this looooong list of games forums, some of which might interest me potentially as joe consumer, but it would not be so bad if I could no at a glance, these games are on sale, and these are their forums, and these games (pointing to games in development) are games we are working on, and those are their forums. If you had to ask me, to name which games Matrix Games has on sale, which are just being supported, and which are close to completion, as well as the games likely best termed long term notionals, I could not really tell you. Who specifically IS the person tasked with the creation management and appearance of the forums? There IS a person(s) isn't there?
