For all ADG fans, I'd just like to say that Harry Rowland has designed a fantastic game in 7 Ages, a big (but not monster) boardgame covering 6000 years of world history. I have to play it a few more times, but I think I like it better than Avalon Hill's Civilization and Advanced Civilization games, which is saying a lot since those games are viewed as classics. I was shocked when I opened the rules and saw the game can be played in a relatively short period of time (even a big game of 7 Ages is a one-day affair). The mechanics are deceptively simple, giving a very high replay value as well as a lot of strategic depth. Needless to say, I endorse this new game and hope Matrix might someday take a look at a computer version to go with EiA and WiF.

My board game days are basically over until I retire or win the lottery which will lead to the former <g>

Bring on the computer version Harry!
