Hi Riverbravo

do you have any of the other parts of IL-2 or just PF ?

either way, check out there forum, they have latest patch, it just came out the 24

(not sure if it is on the download page yet, you may still have to look at the forum and find the link to it there)

the Last Stand that was just released from Matrix is a pretty good add on, but think that is more a IL-2 FB/AEP/PF add on, then just PF

but once you get the hang of the game and if you want to get more stuff/areas to fly and fight, give the rest of it a try

I have IL2 and FB and I really like them also.

The choice to cover the east front was a good one since it has never really been done.I dont know why they didnt start with maybe the Battle of Britain or are they saving that for last?!

FB gave me a big enough dose of the Ost Front air war to last me some time

As a Yank this game (PF) is really cool because MS CFS3 really sucked IMO.

I know the boyz from IL2 crew like fighter planes and all but I would like to see a more bomber oriented game.B-17's,B-24's etc. I know some find it boring flying a big slow bomber but I also fly regular flight sims too so nursing a B-24 with a kaput engine and one smoking back to base would be a challenge as would be staying in formation!!

But as far as PF goes, Ive waited a long time for a pacific theatre Flight sim done and done right so I really like this one!

Well, as I said, the Last Days has some Bomber campigns in it

only been poking around on the GE side so far, so not sure how the Allies are set up

hmmm strange, just went to look

the GE has bomber campaigns, the Hun's have some too, the US has some FB, but no bomber and the SU has some FB and IL-2 campaigns, the GB has a fighter one

oh well, I think it is a nice add on, if you get bored in the Pacific, you can always come back to the ETO

Ihave IL2, IL2 FB and AEP and the just play add on.

Great sim. However PF I feel isnt worth the money. It should have been an add on and not a stand alone product. It also has a very limited single player value.

I am waiting for the BoB game however.

LOL.....I thought the same about FB ...

I prefer the Pac War over the East Front as far as flight sims goes so that prob why I prefer PF over FB.

You really think PF should be an add-on........Hmmmmmm..There is a good enough selection of planes and maps for PF to stand alone IMO.

I will be torturing myself for months trying to make a carrier landing
