That is exactly what happened to me some monthes ago.
Remember the post : "A6M2s vanishing in a blackhole "

Today (june 43 in my campaign), I've lost about 2000 zeros in this blackhole...

So this problem was never solved after three months? Did you send a save in? Seems like we could have a similar bug. How can you play without any Zeros?

No this problem has never been solved.
I have sent a save to Kid three monthes ago but never had news about my problem
(some people wrote in support forum that "maybe" I had a corrupted campaign,
because I upgraded my game with the patches, and never restarted).

As I didn't want to restart, I continued. I observed in my game that the pool was "emptied" every 3 days only (thus planes were accumulated during 3 production days, then "vanished in nowhere" on the 3rd day). Believe it or not, I found that a good solution was to expand very largely my zero production to about 280 A6M2s / month.
So, in 3 days I get about 27 planes, enough to fill completely a navy Daitai BEFORE the pool vanishing....
Of course this solution is extremely costly and produce a lot of trashed planes (because my Zero pool is always empty, I must launch a big production rate each time I need to fill a reinforcement unit or I each time I need replacements).
Thats why I have "produced" more than 2000 zeros in June 43, besides the fact that I have lost only 600 planes in all operations, and meanwhile, I have a pool with 0 zeros....
But I can manage this crappy situation giving the poor AI performances...
(my industry is quite strong and has plenty HI, Oil and Ressource supplies. For Japan, the real problem is trained Pilots pool, not plane production).

I hope this problem will be solved when my production will switch to A6M5 (in 1 or 2 monthes, I bet).

I hope it gets sloved so we can continue our game, which may be on of the farther a long PBEM's. It kinda makes you mad when you put this much time into a game and see that crap like this happens. Since I think there was not to much testing far into game I can see many problems happing when people get far into their PBEM's. That is going to piss a lot of people off.

another bump..

The game will probably start up again soon just to see if the problem goes away by itself. Hopefully that will do the trick.
