I think I am just about ready to move forward from the *official* stuffs :) So could anybody recommend some mod/map etc to me? I took a look a Spooky's site but still have no idea which one is better...

Thanks

I like Lemur's mods, especially his scenario 15 mod. They are more historical. The Japanese start with fewer Zeros and Oscars and a lot more Claudes and Nates that have to be upgraded.

I just run graphical mods pretty much.

I like SubChaser's rendition of the stock map. His mission profile pics are cool too. He has plane side art I like.

I use Tankerace's ship art bundles too.

All is available at Spooky's.

I am a fan of Andrew Brown's map mod. It is far more accurate than the original, especially in distances between bases and in the road/rail networks. If you can't stand playing on a fantasy map (the original WITP treatment of Australia), then Andrew Brown's map is a must.

So it sounds like, Andrew Brown's Map + Lemur's scenario mod + Subchaser's Plane + Tankerace's Ship,
is the best combined solution

Don't forget Cobra's sound mods! He's got some really good ones. I like Clark Gable yelling out "dive, dive"!

There is a special Lemur's scenario for Andrew's map mod. Be sure to get it.
