Just got my copy, and it rocks! Im new to STUN-series, but the user interface is very good. And the game itself runs so good/fast on my amd1.4ghz. I dont know about future, but since I'm new it is a very good thing that almost all micromanagement is handled by computer and I just need to worry about big things I really feel like a emperor.. Some might say that graphics is outdated, but I say its more than good and since its sprite based it would run on slower computers too. I'm not sure if there were supposed to be a music in this game, but all I hear is sound effects. The install did crash on setup32.exe with errorcode 0x5 (and as we all know, it means the program tried to access a memory area that it shouldnt). It did however copy atleast most of the files (I cannot say for sure if all were copied). I did try to copy whole cd to hd and install there, but didnt help. I started the game from directory (since it didnt have a chance to create shortcuts before the crash), and the intromovie crashed too. Well, that all doesnt matter at all to me I must take my words back about not buying new version unless its downloadable. I would pay more than 200 euros to get next version, since this is definently one of my best games ever. ' MOO3 need to be very good indeed to be better than this.
PS. I have never phrased a another game like this, be proud of it PPS. Now I must go back to rule my empire I froze just for this message PPPS. If you havent orded your copy yet, dont hesitate it really is worth the shipment..

I just got a whole system as a gift from computer. Mayby it wanted to improve relationship or something, but the poin is that he has bigger empire than I. Now, in how many 4X games you get gifts like that from computer instead of been attacked by superior force? [ January 18, 2002: Message edited by: Metalli ]

Hi Metalli, glad you're enjoying the game, but it does sound like you had an incomplete install. There definitely should be music in the game. Check the Music sub-folder for .wav files. And ya, the computer player wants to stay friendly with you by offering gifts. Look at the star map, any star that has a cyan (light blue) ring instead of a white one is a "disputed" star. Disputed stars cause friction between the owner and the wanna-be-owners.
