Mr. Bill: Yay!
Mr. Hands: Okay, Seaman Bill, you need to use your shovel to fill in that bomb crater in the landing strip, so we can make it nice and level for our bombers to use.
Mr. Bill: Aye, aye, sir! (moves shovel full of dirt)
Mr. Hands: Oh, look, Seaman Bill, it's CPO Sluggo, and he's brought a steamroller to help you!
Mr. Bill: Oh, I don't like him--he's mean to me.

Good point--SNAFU can drive the tank and run over Private Bill because he's not paying attention to where he's going.

My father was CIC USS Arkansas, Iwo Jima, and Okinawa. His brother was in a Marine PBY Squadron in SW Pacific (don't know which one).

A question for those younger than 60...

If your dad was aboard a ship that gets sunk in the game, will you cease to exist?

And if your dad commanded a ship, air or ground unit IRL and gets replaced by the leader bug in WitP - will you turn Japanese?

My dad was in naval air cadets, but ended up serving in a DD in the ETO since the war was ending. He arrived in Italy after end of the war.

My uncle Paul landed on D-Day from what I heard, but he never spoke of it to me or anyone that I know of. I vaguely remember asking about it once, and being told to never ask again.
