As I experiment with different uniform designs/markings Im adding them to the templates as layers so that they can easily be used again. This uniform shows a layer added to U0, U2 and U3 to get the effect shown below with each section matching up with that section on the other file. Have also added a layer for two shoulder stripes.

For the ill fated last version of FPS someone did a Leopard skin uniform that was kind of cool, decide to try one. Liked the look, but then also found a tiger skin to use for uniforms and think it looks better. Here are how they look, havent done the white versions yet.

Good lord, you remember that? I did that one but I think its on 3 hard drives back in vaporland with FBPro99. I used the cats eye for the helmet. I like your designs, particularly the Federals. I think if this game has any substance unlike the one we did art for 8 years ago, I will pickup doing jerseys for MaxFB. I think I will update an old DC Federals uniform I did in FBPro.

Yes Deft I remmember your Leopard uniforms, all though I couldnt remmember who did it. If I recall you an I did a large number of the uniforms that were done for FPS football, that Sierra had available for download. I have know idea what screen name I used back then on those forums. Some of the uniforms that Im doing for MF are clones of the ones I did for FPS.

hey, guys, absolutey can't wait until Feb 21!!!!!

If someone can either be so kind as to create Miami Hooters uniforms (Arena Football team from 1993-1995, had a uni change in 1995) that would be so awesome! Otherwise at least a photo and I'd make them myself. I have tried every resource possible and at best can find only their team colors (they surprisingly used maroon too), but not one picture of their uniforms.

I don't think I can possibly top that jersey scotty.

Here is the jersey of the Miami Bulls, the logo is correct, but there was never any jerseys issued, this was the proposed name of the Miami team before it was eventually named the Hooters.

Hi Boxboy99,

I am pretty new to Max uni creation as well (coming over from Madden uni creation). Anyway, the best advice I can give you is to forget about using MSPaint - you are only going to give yourself major headaches with it unless you only want to do some minor adjustments to pre-existing uni's. You need something that will handle layers. Changing colours and what-not is best handled with layers - you just change the base color layer and all the detailing/shading layers stay in tact. With layering, you can do all kinds of manipulation without the earhole, for example, even changing. You also find very useful magic wands and other special highlighting/selection utilites not found in MSPaint.

I think there is a free trial downloadable version of PaintShop Pro available (http://www.corel.com/servlet/Satellite?pagename=Corel3/Downloads/Trials) for you to try out. It should do what you need (I use the full version). There may be one for PhotoShop as well (not sure (???)).

Hope this helps.

Or look for a program called GIMP. It's a free open-source program with pretty much all the same features as photoshop or paintshop pro.

And of course once the game's out I'm sure people will be putting up all kinds of custom uniforms for downloading, so there's always the option of just using other people's work.

I am in awe at how terrific the creations you guys have done so far - great job!

Here is my 2nd team - again a conversion from my Madden creation, but with a little bit of Maximum flare. Hope you like them (P.S. It isn't a modified Canucks logo, it is a Haida Orca design).
