I've had SPWaW for a long time but never got around to playing any of the campaigns (played scenarios).

I've just been playing the Stalingrad campaign (tough or what) but it stopped half way through after the Mamayev Kurgan Hill mission. THe campaign summary gives the impression I some be going on to the Tractor Factory but it keeps palying the Mamayev mission. OK I scrubbed it and started the Normany Gold.

After picking my troops and deploying them I wanted to lay down a smoke screen and bombard the shore line to remove obstacles. Unfortunately the LCAs (HR) don't have any ammo???? The LCSs only have enough ammo for one salvo??? The German engineer start removing their own defenses (They should be set to either lay mines or not clear them).

Is there something wrong with the campaigns or have mine become corrupt?

How do you edit the campaign missions? I've tried but can't find them. I'm also having problems linking the missions into campaigns

The LCA's blasted the holes in the beach defenses, thats why they are empty. The LCS's are direct fire only. I have never had the naval guns work. I usually edit the campaign to give me enough points to buy the naval guns, since the supplied guns never work.

The campaigns should already be linked and complete. If you are using 8.3, send your email address to me at goblin@spwaw.com, and I will send you Normandy Gold, with the points modified to buy the naval guns.

What happens in the kurgan Hill area is this after the battle , you repair and are again placed on the kurgan map... there are no opposing forces on the map just the victory hexes... take the ones that still have the soviet flag if any , wise to leave one if i remember right, and let the turns play out after you are done grabbing the vhexes and then you can move to the next scenario.... (the reason to leave a vhex is it will give you a victory instead of a loss or a draw if i remember rightly) you will get the points in the no fight scenario...
