All I have is a 56k dial-up. How large is the download? I could download it at work but my thumb drive can only hold 256MB.
Does your site support getright? The other option is I could download it over time using getright.

Also, if I order the physical product as well does it come with a paper manual?

Thanks in advance.

The download for this title will be 263Mb and we do support download managers. We recommend Stardownloader (www.stardownloader.com) and in fact would advise modem users to not download without some sort of manager to handle resuming connection losses or aborted transfers. Modem users with download managers like Getright and Stardownloader have reported no problems (other than patience) downloading even larger installers from our store. As always, once downloaded we recommend you archive a backup copy of the installer to CD if you are not ordering the boxed version as well.

The physical boxed version is a professionally printed DVD case along with a professionally printed CD, both full color. Printed manuals are not available at present for our game on demand titles (though we are working on it), but we provide a print-friendly version of the manual in PDF that can be printed in greyscale at print shops like Kinko's (don't ask them to print it color, unless you want to pay a bunch of money) for a few bucks or on your own home printer. We also provide a PDF E-Book which is bookmarked and fully searchable for ease of reference - in fact many users find it superior to printed manuals because of those features.

We have been working on providing a full 'print on demand" option, but it's not ready yet and likely won't be until sometime this summer.

Regards,

- Erik

Ravinhood, you forgot to include a small strategy guide in your extensive list.

Ravinhood,

We will be providing all that, and a magnifying glass, as a package deal for purchasing the 1" x 1" deluxe printed "Mega-manual" double-sided index card. Should you decide to expand it to it's full 1500 page glory, all you need to do is add water.

Regards,

- Erik

Can I order the digital download on my computer, download it on a friends computer, and then burn a CDR and play only on my computer with these Digital River downloads? If I get a new computer someday will I have no problem transferring and using the game on my new computer?

You can download it anywhere as long as you have the Digital River login and password. Yes, you can burn the downloaded .exe to a CD-R so you can reinstall it anytime you want.
