Is anybody looking forward to this game? The demo is out tomorrow.

I know its not a "wargame" or even close to drunk realism lol but I still find it a TON of fun.. the only problem I ever have is the servers are full of smacktards.. was wondering if any matrix folk out there are gonna battlefield it up, if so, a matrix clan could own:)

Most definately looking forward to it. BFV was a bit disappointing IMHO (it thing it lost something but i dont know what). So I am really looking forward to jumping into tanks all over again! I am a crap pilot though. It looks great too.

I personally think these multiplayer shooters are overrated. It quickly degenerates into random shooting and namecalling.

You can't blame that on the games themselves. Public servers are frequently, if not usually, like that (80% at least of those playing are teens, remember), but they aren't the only way to play. A server restricted to forum members as Damocles suggests wouldn't be like that. I doubt Matrix alone would be enough, but if someone set up a "Wargamers" server and left the password here, the Wargamer, Armchair General, Shrapnel and similar sites you would have a pretty good crew every night, I suspect. For popular online games there are clans/squads for all tastes too, including adult-only groups just playing for a bit of fun. Just don't expect to beat the kids too often!

ya, we can try it on private servers first, these games rock with the lack of smack tards in them, I"ll be up for some gamming tomorrow, have to finish some work here for a client first tho, tomorrow night.

I can not wait to get into some us hardware and blast away!

Yes.

When the game comes out I"m all for a matrix squad.

Just a short story.

I was on a server(typical 90% tards) but I got lucky and landed a good squad, we had a commander that talked to us and everybody was on voice comm. we just RIPPED the other team apart it was not even funny.

Wargames aside if you want to experience close in small squad tactics this is the game, we had a squad of 6 totaly blanced, we had a medic support gunner, anti tank guy, I was the special ops guy and we just ripped apart anything that came in our way.

I have never had more fun, we assaulted the airbase... I snuke in first and took out a few smacktards waiting for jets, then used the c4 to blow up the artillary while the sniper took out the guy in the AA station, once it was out we called in our buddy in the cobra and he rained hell on the rest of the base... so much damn fun......

Its only that good if you have a squad of cool mature peeps to play with tho... even if we just had a few and all got together on the public servers we would have a riot and just wade through the rest of the fools lol

Hey, how about a Matrix vs. DAS Entertainment battle? I'm sure the guys at work will be itching for a six on six matchup.
