I have downloaded spwaw and copied all the files to a cd but can't get it to work. I had this great game running from hard drive but since copying it, no luck. I have since had to reformat my pc. What do I need to get it to run again? Win95 Pent200 32MBram Please help as this took weeks to download. [This message has been edited by rurukaa (edited September 27, 2000).]

Some time ago somebody asked if SPWAW can be run from the cd and back then (couple weeks ago) no-one reported having been able to do so. So you had it installed on your hard drive and just copied all to cd? And because you reformatted all registry references for SPWAW have been erased...and because you have this problem you don't have the original install file any more? I'm not a computer guru but I'd say you'd have to install the game again, not just copy the files around. And if you don't have that install file...then it's downloading time again. Unless you can get one of the game mag cd's or can get a cd from someone else. Voriax

ruruka: I have spwaw on cd but I found it was meant to be played from hard disk, not the cd, therefore your copy (cd) needs to be downloaded to your hard disk. Once this is done you don't need hard disk to play, just click a wait for loading and play....hope this helps. ------------------ Sm th Sailing...chief [This message has been edited by chief (edited October 12, 2000).]
