Hello all, I just purchased my copy of this fabulous game and feel myself within an incredibly complex battlefield. What a masterpiece...

I would like to hear about some basic strategies when playing as japanese the scenario 5.
I wait eagerly for the arrival of my CVs just find myself unable to get them closer to Rabaul if I want keep them alive. My level bombers make bombing missions in Gili-gili with remarkable results but when tryng to chase the Lexington,Wasp or any other american carriers they fall in pieces no matter how many escorts they have.

I find myself unable to stop the american troops advance through Guadalcanal either since they early in the scenario assaulted and bombarded my american TFs.

Any basic tips or guidelines would be very appreciated , thanks in advance, Aristoteles.

first post i see .. hope the old hands are kind to you ..

anyway ive never played ecenario 5 so cant help you out with any probs you may have. Hopefully some othere have. Most folk here seem to play the BIG game 15/16 or CHS ..

Anyway thumbs up for buying this masterpiece ,,
