Is friendly fire possible?

Last night I was playing the AI. One of my subs engaged a Japanese transport. With out going to the results field my sub came under air attack. Then the result field came up. A RAF squadron had attacked my sub.

Or was this a bug? I�m not complaining their should be some friendly fire in the game.

Aircraft set to night naval attack will occasionally attack friendly ships.

wow, this game is really realistic!

That is exactly what happen. It was a RAF unit set for night ops. Thanks (no complaints just wondering).

I have seen ONCE a night torpedo attack, aiming an AP..

Instead it hit my BB that was intercepting the convoy..

And YES I was mightily pissed with the IJNAF. So the Daitai was promptly reasigned to Manchuria... That should teach them!
