Hi Everyone,

i also had lots of that moments - the biggest sh** was in an assautl scenario:

I had som Engineers mounted on my STUGIIIs for assaulting the enemy positions. I also loaded my HQ on one of my Tanks to secure a rapid advance.

The advance was so rapid that i lost the overview who was riding on wich vehicle - the end was an engineer plattoon sitting in a safe place behind the main-combat-line while my HQ jumped of a tank right in a minefield in front of some enemy MGs, pillboxes and Tanks an decided to disperse

the good news - the engineer platoon survived unharmed - clever guys...

In SP1 I was attacking the French in 1940 with Germans. I was examining the map while I hit the wrong mouse button and my HQ unit, that was loaded into Sdkfz-251, just decided to hit the road and ran directly into French ambush.

Guess what. It survived.

I'm used to have mad colonels leading he charge from the front, but if you accidently lose your units by hitting wrong mouse buttons, I wouldn't sue anybody for restarting the game.

Have you ever done this: you have a tank stacked with infantry adjacent to an enemy stack, and when you attempt to fire the tank, you hit the wrong mouse button and advance INTO that enemy hex? *BOOM!* Tank is destroyed, and all you can do is mutter, "aww sh*t!"

Here's another one: your infantry unit blunders into the enemy, and when it retreats, it retreats INTO the enemy?

And, for good measure, one more: the moment when every piece of arty the AI has seems to pound just ONE of your unlucky units?

Personal note: is it because I'm southern, or is "sh*t" actually pronounced as two syllables?

Have you ever wondered, "If the AI is that dumb, what does that say about MY mental acumen?!"

I'm not alone in this, am I? C'mon, guys, fess up.

I will have a tank stacked with infantry, and invariably the tank will "respond fire", which triggers enemy fire from MG42's,etc, killing my infantry in the same area !!!!!!!!!!
(One of "Murphy's Laws of Combat" sez to avoid large objects like tanks, as they attract attention from the enemy, and will piss them off........)
