In a PBEM long campaign it is now Sep 42 and most of my US CVs still have 27 VF groups. One CV has had it's VF grow to 36 (I think while the squadron was not on the CV). Plenty of spare F4Fs in the pool. TBDs all upgraded to TBFs OK - anyone know how I can get the rest of the VF groups to upsize to 36 planes? The CVs have been affected by the 'feature' that the airgroups have 'adopted' new non-idependent HQs.....

Thanks for the reply Terminus - the reason I asked is because it is already September and the one group that did increase did so well over a month of game time ago.

Are the CV airgroups upgraded when the carriers are refitted in a port with repair facilities ?
