Make sure you download the Access version of the database. Then make sure you copy it into the c:\Matrix Games\PureSim 2005 Gold Edition folder.

It still won't find the database even though it has been extracted into the folder. I tried 5.1 and 5.2 acess. Thanks

What is the file name and what is the exact folder you are placing it in?

I had the same problems but after 3hours of reinstalls and reboots and lost associations i finally got it to recognize 5.2. and i really loved that 35 year association i had for a month. I'll just start over.

That makes no sense.

Are you sure you were copying it to the right directory? I think you guys might be getting confused because the previous version installed to c:\program files\PureSim 2005 whereas the gold version installs to c:\Matrix Games\PureSim 2005 Gold Edition.

I know for a fact that it works 100% correctly if it is in the right folder. I also know there is no way you lost your association (unless you deleted it). I'll bet its over in the old puresim 2005\psa folder.

Yes, i am quite sure. My mistake was i move the association over instead of copying it over to the Matrix /Puresim folder. Loaded the association, and all hell broke loose. Brought it back in the old RC 1 and didnt work there anymore either. Then i tried to start new associations with real players and hell broke loose again. Deinstalled and reinstalled and rebooted for hours and finally got an association to start up. Seems to be running great now. I went ahead and trashed the old association. My lesson is to always back up association to my external drive i guess.
