What is your league configuration? Have you imported other players?

Also, which specific player are you trying to import?

The Legue configuration was 2 leagues, with 6 divisions of 4 teams.

I have never been able to import any player.

The first player I tried to import was Sandy Koufax, the second Denny McLain, the third player Roger Clemens. I received the same error on each player. The search function seemed to worked perfectly, each players historical info was displayed and I just chose the year I wanted to import. However, when I pressed the import player button I received the Error 13 message.

Thanks for any help.

OK, I have a work-around for you. The bug appears to only happen when trying to import an individual player into an empty association.

So, what you can do is select a team and import it (assigning its players to the free agent pool). Or CTRL-CLICK on more than 1 player in the grid and import them. Basically, as long as the import operation is more than one player it should work.

Once you have done that you can import individual players with no problems.

I'll be sure to fix this in a patch, but hopefully this should get you going. Sorry for your trouble, I guess me and the testers just usually imported entire teams initially :)

Shaun,

Thanks for the prompt response. The work around won't be any trouble at all.

I will try to construct the association this weekend.

By the way congratulations on the relationship with Matrix. I have been buying and using your editors since the early FPS days and, while we don't know each other, I feel like we do. I have purchased PureSim twice and now I am ordering the CD with the fancy packaging although I have already downloaded PS 2005 Gold. I own every baseball sim there is, but the only one I use is PureSim. Thanks for the great product and the great support.

Thanks for the kind words. If it weren't for a great group of loyal PureSimmers I would have given up long ago!

Thanks for your support, boxed copies will be out Monday!
