This is why the Allied player can't and never should put more than one CV in each CV TF in 1942. The unwarranted (bullpoop) strike bonus for Japan and Uber CAP forces the Allied player to make the bad mechanics work in lieu of Japanese weaknesses not being modelled. Seperate TFs make the IJN strikes spread out and target each TF, thereby allowing the Allied uber CAP a crack at mechanic induced strike uncoordination.

You would think that ALL Allied players would know this by now.
"ONE" US CV per TF in '42'!
This breaks up the Japanese coordinated airstrike and forces them to fly through the combined US CAP.

Well I was in the middle of sending them all to Noumeau until he invaded it. So I sent all those carriers back and they were low on fuel. This is my first game as the Allies and its safe to say I never paid much attention to the AARs. I've always been a Japanese Fanboy.

Well I had to sacrifice the Sara to save the others...*sigh* It's all a learning experience :)

One thing I have learned is how to use subs, LOL...maybe I should just dock all surface ships and use nothing but subs!

Here are now the monthly news from the front :

West Coast :
Nothing will happened until 1/1/1944 except perhaps raiding

North Pacific :
Quiet no sign of Japanese yet

Central Pacific :
The Gilbert Island have felt to the japanese. The KB is now here and attack transport convoy. The USN CV are now mostly unavailable to defend the bases here.

South Pacific :
Noumea and the surrounding Island has been taken. But what is the next target

Australia Command:
Port Moresby is under attack.

USAFFE :
The south (Davao and so on...) is now japanese. For North Manilla, Clark Field and Bataan are the only not empty allies bases that resist to the Japanese

ABDA :
The base near Batavia has fallen. Batavia is next Japanese target. The surrounding bases around Palemberg felt, just a few remains.

Southeast Asia :
The Malaya is now all Japanese. For the moment there is now real counter-attack from Allies.

China :
In South China, Nanning has been saved from the chinese wrath and Changsha was taken mostly intact 6 chinese corps were defeated in the take over. 2 attack have been twarted off by Chinese just a few moves here
In North China, Yenen and Honan have been taken 4 corps were defeated there. 4 additional corps are trapped at Tatung. The bulk of the North Chinese army are surronded at Kaifeng.
Sian is now a very active airplane for the Japanese

Far east Command :
Nothing will happen here before 1/1/1944
