would it be possible for a moderator to create a sticky note titled
"Requests for Artwork"
this would centralize all art requests from members and make them easier to find

IMHO, this could serve for sound mods as well..??(Cobra, you did some sounds for me as well, before I learned how to do them..)
Maybe we just need a sticky called "artists corner"(?)

That is a great idea!

I was just thinking of something along these lines..,
I think the "Artists Corner" idea is great!
we have sooo many talented people on this forum I'm surprised we haven't done it already.

(CobraAus, I will always feel indebted to you my friend),

As someone who often has need of such things, I'd like to second, third, fourth and fifth that idea!

Hey Cobra

This is my fault - I wasn't clear in my email to you re: the Spitfire PR IV/ID. I need it -without- the tropical filter and preferably not in desert camo. (Spit PRs were usually painted a deep blue.)

I am still looking for a good profile view of one, and I'll post it up here when I find it..

On a happier note the Defiant II, floatplane Spits and Beaufighter IC look awesome. Thanks again for all your help.

I have a request for artwork - I'm out of the aircraft art business!
Can anyone make a Sea Hurricane ...in the Fleet Air Arm camo pattern?

For a mod I want to try (good by Gladiators)

Hi Cobra,

It would look like a standard Hurricane II, done up in a paintjob like this SeaFire below...

Looking for a shipside of the RN Manxman class fast minelayer. Can't find a usable illustration online, so maybe someone else will have more luck?

I have two new requests!

This one is based on official plans for using the hull of an Iowa-class BB for carrier conversion. (Length is identical to the Iowa.)

And this is the French heavy cruiser Algérie. (Length is ~600 feet.)

I would like art for the following Japanese aircraft which may be added in the next release of CHS:

1) M6A1 (a float variation of D4Y2 for use by submarines as a bomber)

2) G8N1 (a 4 engine heavy bomber similar to B-17)

3) Ki-56 (a derivitive of Lockheed 14 or the Japanese LO transport)

4) E16A1 (a float recon plane similar to E13A1)

5) G5N2-L (an unarmed variation of the G5N1 bomber, itself a variation of
the DC-4E airliner).

6) H8K2-L (an unarmed variation of the H8K2 patrol flying boat, this is a transport)

7) Ki-34 (inspired by the DC-2)

8) Ki-102b WITH missile - a variation of the Ki-102a
