I request art for

a) A P-51 D model in RAAF colors

b) A Mars (PB2M-1) with defensive guns

c) A PBB Sea Ranger (a gigantic twin engine flying boat with ball turrets fore and aft)

and help putting them into two different filmstrips (standard and EOS).

For hardware reasons, Cobra is unable to work art at this time.

Erm, won't that lead to a lack of standard appearance? I mean, Cobra's style is very distinctive...

Do you have a line drawing or similar of the Sea Ranger? I have an RAAF Mustang already, and I also have a Mars without turrets which shouldn't be too difficult to modify

Anyway, here's the link to Warships 1900-50:

http://www.warshipsww2.eu/tridy.php?language=E&period=&stat=HOL&typ=SS

Thanks Terminus and Wild Willie. Yes, I saw the pics of the KV and KVIII on dutchsubmarines.com, but they're at such an angle, I can't get a good read on them. Terminus, I had already seen the line drawings on Warships 1900-50, but it looks like there is no other choice but to go with them.

Again, thanks to both of you!

Actually - RHS has long incorporated non-Cobra art in places - and it is working up a ship art package which is supposed to both adopt common rules (between Matrix, CHS and RHS) and utilize some of the very fine art out there which was not done by Cobra.

In any case - since Cobra cannot do any art just now - it is a choice of do it or live without it. I don't propose to take a year or two to figure out the tools (which I obtained - along with scanners - but never needed to master - because of support from the Forum).

I have a photograph of the Sea Ranger. I probably can scan it. Where should I send it?

How are these? The PBB still needs some finishing touches, but I wanted to make sure I was heading in the right direction with it.

Mayasan Maru was a Mitsui Senpaku commercial vessel, configured to carry landing craft, by doubling the kingpost capacity. Other than that, she was a vanilla merchant vessel. Here’s a picture. If you want a .bmp just ask & I’ll send you one.

Hi all, I'd really like a B-19. Side and top views... I've decided to give the Americans something which has the ability to hit the Japanese way behind their lines as a means to tie up significant IJN and IJA fighter forces.

Anyways, any help would be MUCH appreciated...

If they use the 3 views I have posted, it can be painted either OD with a light grey bottom, or silver all over, with red and white tailstripes like the early B 17....
Silver will have the early "meatball" insignia, later had just the white star with blue circle.

Has anyone done any artwork on the B-23 Dragon?  Went through twice, but only found a post asking if one was available.

I'd like to find ship artwork for the following "little ships":

US Navy YO-46 class yard oiler (235 ft)
US Army FS small cargo ship (177 ft steel type, like the USS Reluctant from the movie Mr. Roberts)
Australian Requisitioned Patrol Craft Wilcannia (216.4 ft)
Australian Naval Oiler Kurumba (not so little)
New Zealand Requisitioned Minesweeper Matai (219 ft)
Philippine Government Cutter Arayat (formerly Spanish and US Gunboat)
US Navy PE "Eagle Boat"
US Patrol Yacht Southern Seas (228 ft)
US Patapso class AOG (310 ft)
US APc type Coastal Transport (103 ft)
US Navajo class Fleet Tug (205 ft)
A good example of a converted Fishing Boat type PYc or YP.

All for my personal use.  Thanks.
