This is the deal...
This will be my first WitP pbem. I played 5 or 6 UV pbems, all vicories with both sides.
What I will say next will make Pauk fall of his chair. I'm getting married soon, and it's bound to put a strain on me putting out those turns, but there is no avoiding it. I'm looking at a problematic time period from sth like December till February. During the period it may happen that I'm away for a week or more. I'm saying all this because I'm looking for a dedicated intermediate player. I want this game to go on till '46
Autovictory can be ignored (if by any miracle achieved) as far as I'm concerned because I want thegame to go all the way. It's a lont term comittment. I also wouldn't mind a rematch where we record the first score and then add it to the second one to see the overall winner. I would also like my opponent to be at least a stray cat in the forum (like me), because I don't have any time to waste on anonimuses playing till they lose 3 CVs (no offence to anyone, please, I know we all have to start from somewhere).
I would also like the game to be started in v1.7
Huse rules: there is time for this, I'll snoop around to find some that satisfy my taste; feel free to add your own and some might have to get adjusted during the game. There is no house rule or problem that cannot be discussed in a mature manner. I do apologize if I'm breaking with the traditional WitP forum raport here but...
One more thing. As you can see, I'm from Croatia, so according to my previous pbem experiance, I will prefer opponents from Europe. It increases the chance of getting into a rampage of turns when we both have spare time and that's more probable within the same timezone.
P.S.
Huge apologies to RAM with whom I discussed playing. Sorry about the delay...

If only i had a free slot for pbems i'd jump into it...would be cool to face the whole Croatia and fight for the dominion of adriatic sea...
Pauk would be the next one obviously

maybe in the future!..who knows

I don't want to come off looking like a boaster but, there are plenty intermediate players that visit the forum often. I just want keep my options opened till v1.7 comes out and i do know the importance of playing someone you trust. Noone will be happier than my future wife if I don't accept any challenges. Croatia vs. Serbia does hold some spark in it though...But Janushm isn't out of the game also. Just keep in mind that this quite an awkward time for a pbem for me right now. There's bound to be some hickups in the first few months.
Cheers everyone

Hi,
My current opponent has trouble with his computer and the game is halted for the moment. It might resume in December but might not. I had an other campaingn that ran from May to October 1942 but my opponent faded away.
So I may well be available for a campaign game in December. In a couple of weeks I will know whether or not my opponent comes back online but I would be interested to put an option on this game right now if you're ok.
December 7th sounds like a good date to start a game

Interesting idea, however it seems to me that we are going to have problems - your compatriots prefers playing on the dark side

hm, you are forgetting that we kick Italians (Venice) several times in the past, although Venice gain some land in Dalmatia. Thats why Italians went for unification in 19th century - Sicily and Sardinia aren't so beatiful like East Adriatic coast, but it is better than nothing

Seriously, i would like to have you on my side, not against me!

Maybe we can arrange Serbo-Croatina teams for both Japanese and Allies ?
Seriosly, it would be nice to have one PBEm without bothering to write in english but,as always, free time is an issue

I don't think so. Compared to our neighbours from Croatia, we are in big minority here
