Well, english used in the game is not so difficult. Once you have figured out the meanings of some key concepts, playing WITP is like working with an insanely large excel sheet or database.
There is a language barrier if you want to partecipate to the forum, the discussions are interesting and for me it is sometime frustrating when you cannot post because you're not able to espress your opinions in another language.

BTW, to me it's real strange that there are really few japanese playing this game.

Status: offline 		Even if it were priced at .01, it's probable that the Communist Chinese government might ban the game as they did with Paradox's Hearts of Iron. HOI had an independent Tibet as a playable country as well as giving the Sinkiang warlord his own playable country. Also, IIRC Taiwan was made a part of Japan in that game. WiTP does have an independent Tibet on the map as well as no garrison requirements for cities in Formosa which could be construed as a political implication that Formosa is separate from the rest of China. These factors in addition to the grossly inaccurate Red Chinese OOB would probably be enough to get the game banned. Actually, I wonder why it hasn't been banned already because of this. Maybe the game is simply not as well known to the authorities as HOI. Or maybe the public banning of HOI had the opposite effect and actually increased interest of the game.
