View looking east from the east loc of the harbor (Battleship row side), looking towards the shipyards. Photos in this direction are prohibited. Unfortunately my GF unit has defective hearing corrected partially by hearing aids, the pair of which help her little in the face of a load launch motor.

If you looked, I'm afraid i'll have to kill you now....

Carriers-schmariers. Here's a man's warship. View of Missouri at South (Front) end of Battleship row from position where California was tied. Missouri occupies the space where USS Maryland and Oklahoma were tied.

Coming up alongside the Missouri. To the right you can make out the Arizona memorial.

Pearl Harbor also features a very nice submarine museum containing numerous historical items, including a mostly intact Kaiten. (sorry Brady..no pic)

Also featured at the museum is the USS Bowfin, a Balao class WWII Fleet boat. Here we see yours truely puting the deck gun through her paces. It was interesting exploring this old gal, perhaps the most interesting part was getting to see the ship's real hull underneath the false deck seen below.

Yes, however it would take heavy bribing. Maybe a plane with my name on it along with snazzy lighting bolts.

Poor Frag.

Little does he know that his GF Mk 1 is out of his league. He is simply the "I take pity on the ugly guys, and go with them on their geeky field-trips." appendage, while GF Mk 1 scans the horizon for Firefighter Mk 3...

Very nice tourist snaps, Nik. Just one question: how did you score with a babe like that?

Excellent pics my friend. Excellent. Thanks for sharing. I could look at pics of WW2 stuff for many an hour. Mark VII's one's of Guad a while ago were top notch too.

Out of interest has anyone been to places like Truk? Rabaul? Mariana's etc?

LOL. On the dogs too. We all really know who is the Axis Fanboy right Nik?

I assume you didn't see me in my Eye-Boat scouting out the 'terrain'? I tried to spot you and was gonna surface and use the deck gun. Alas I couldn't find you.........
