In order to give you all a taste of what will become one of the biggest wargames ever, we have prepared an in-depth After Action Report showcasing the bloody Wacht am Rhein scenario. This AAR gives a great impression of the gameplay and possible strategies for War in the West!
Two of our scenario designers took up the challenge, shook hand and went to the drawing boards to formulate the best possible strategy they could. Playing from December 1944 to March 1945, the Axis player was tasked with attacking the Allied positions near Bastogne, simulating the Battle of the Bulge campaign and its aftermath. Meanwhile, the Allies, while caught off-guard, would organize their defenses and hold the line, looking for an opportunity to launch a major counterattack.
