Robert Crandall to Discuss Upcoming Patch and What’s Next!

Matrix Games is happy to announce a live chat session with Robert Crandall to discuss the modern strategy game Flashpoint Germany.  The chat will be open to the general public with topics covering what will be coming in their latest patch, future patches, and what ideas the chat attendees have for improving the game.  The chat will begin on July 14^th, 2005 at 10:00 PM Eastern US time and is accessible from the Matrix Games website.

This rare opportunity gives fans and newcomers to the genre a chance to ask the creators of the game nearly anything they want, either about the games or about developing complex strategy titles.  The chat is set to begin at 10:00 PM Eastern US time from the Matrix Games website.  The chat is accessible through the Services section of the Matrix Games website or by clicking “Users in Chat” from anywhere on the site.

Flashpoint Germany occurs at the height of the cold war.  The historical outcome we know hasn’t happened yet and this time things will end differently.  This time, with the world at the brink of World War III and the Soviet Union in a state of near collapse, the decision to seek a military solution was made.  Square off as either the Warsaw Pact or the NATO alliance in this war to end all wars!

Flashpoint Germany spans 17 different scenarios and comes complete with a scenario editor, order of battle guide and equipment database.  Additionally, players can play online, by e-mail, or against a competitive computer opponent.  Each battle map is a detailed representation of the German landscape, representing the actual terrain that would have influenced battles throughout West Germany.
