Crown of Glory has taken home another award. This time it is Best Pre-20th Century Era Wargame. Once again Crown of Glory and the Western Civilization team has been recognized by the industry and by all of our fans for their excellent product. On behalf of Matrix Games and Western Civilization we extend a huge thank-you to those people who believed in this product. Be sure to congratulate them on the Crown of Glory Forums and don’t forget stay up to date on their next Civil War game, Forge of Freedom.
However, there was no winner this year in the 20th Century Era Wargame category of the Charles S. Roberts awards. Why? It just so happens Matrix Games secured all three nominations and all three were too close to call. The result: All three games received an official honorable mention- but in our eyes all three deserve credit for a victory!
So congratulations to Gary Grigsby’s World at War, War Plan Orange: Dreadnoughts of the Pacific 1922-1930, and Flashpoint
Finally, I wouldn’t want to leave out Tin Soldiers: Julius Caesar, which was nominated along side Crown of Glory for Best Pre-20th Century Era Wargame. It couldn’t have lost to a more deserving game and Tin Soldiers: Julius Caesar certainly deserved the nomination.
So we would like to thank our developers for making great games, but most of all we’d like to thank our fans for nominating and supporting us each year.
