Almost one year ago, Gary Grigsby’s War in the West amazed fans of detailed wargames and critics alike. But even though the scope of the original game was impressive, developer 2by3 Games wanted to cover this part of the war more extensively.
Today they are back with the release of a new expansion called Operation Torch. This introduces a set of new scenarios covering the African and Western European operations between late 1942 and 1945.

It’s high time to give some extra details of the new features introduced in Operation Torch. Along with the multiple new single player scenarios, we’ve worked hard to enhance the multiplayer system. The result is that Operation Torch owners will now have access to a full messaging system, will have the chance to join bigger games including 3 or 4 players and also play as co-operative air and ground commanders with another human player against the AI!

Over ten years ago, an incredible game brought to life the complexity and the destructive power of the War that never was, the possible massive conflict in Europe between Soviet Union and NATO. This game was Flashpoint Germany. From the very beginning the game impressed critics. You felt the pressure to have your regiment under control, dealing with air strikes, minefields, high-tech missiles and even with your own radio traffic (which could have revealed your HQ’s position forcing you to keep it moving)!

Heroes of Normandie features a fascinating way to build your Army for skirmish, multiplayer and rogue mode battles.
You are free to choose your units from a wide roster, including support infantry squads, mechanized units, Machine Gun and Anti-Tank teams, Tanks, Scouts and – of course – Heroes!
Each faction can deploy a specific set of units on the battlefield, allowing you to invest in the units that best fit your playstyle.
You can also decide to spend some amount of “gold” on extra items to rescue your soldiers when they are facing desperate situations - from rifle grenades to panzerfausts - including other vital gadgets.
