Command: Modern Air/Naval Operations (CMANO) is a serious videogame, very much in the Matrix Games genre and was released for public sale in 2013. CMANO gives the Wargamer full tactical and operational level control of a conflict simulation, from a single 1-vs-1 dogfight, or naval skirmish all the way to theatre and even strategic-scale warfare. CMANO, developed by our Developer partner WarfareSims, was immediately recognised by our gaming community as a unique title and repeatedly voted Wargame of the Year (WOTY).
Since release, multiple DLC and expansion sets have been added and the very popular, yet controversial, Command LIVE series, based around evolving political and military events, has been a major success. Other examples of the realism of the series are Chains of War a battle set that explores conflict between China, the USA and their respective allies, taking place the near future.

Since its first release, Command: Modern Air / Naval Operations (CMANO) has redefined the expectations of the modern combat wargaming community. Thanks to its immensely powerful built-in scenario editor, a huge collection of community scenarios have been made available and enjoyed by the legions of CMANO players.
Today, developers Warfare Sims are proud to present their next step: version 1.10, a huge update which includes, among other features, Steam Workshop integration: players can now upload, browse and download content directly via Steam!

Both Command: Modern Air / Naval Operations and the standalone expansion Northern Inferno have been updated to version v1.091 (Build 757.10)!
This update to the v1.09 major release fixes all critical bugs reported by the community, improves simulation performance on large scenarios and includes a host of small but important improvements!
This update is the stepping stone to next forthcoming major release, v1.10, whose early features are already dropping jaws on the internal beta-testing group!
Make sure to upgrade to 1.09 before installing this patch!

CMANO has been updated to version 1.08!
This is a very huge update (over 20 pages!) with new features, fixes, additions and the databse completely incremented!
Some of the highlights of the new free update:
* New toys to try out: Anti-torpedo torpedoes and related torpedo-warning systems, new warhead types such as "superfrags", new weapon types such as "Contact explosive" (for the discerning saboteur or suicide terrorist), a brand-new ship type (Mobile Offshore Base (aka "Battle Island")), and more.
* User interface enhancements: Players can now observe the engagement arcs of a unit mount, permission-dependent color of targeting vectors, coastline/border fade-out on zoom (as in GE), the manual weapon allocation window can present to the player the "soft" restrictions (WRA/WCS/other doctrine settings), various tweaks to mission editor UI. etc.

Version 1.07 is ready and along with the usual bug fixes and database additions it introduces elements highly anticipated by the community.
First of all there is the implementation of the Weapon Release Authorization (WRA) feature that allows players and scenario designers to precisely tailor weapon allocation logic at different scales.
And it’s also an opportunity to unveil Mission Editor 2.0, a powerful tool that offers way more customization options for the behavior of units. And on top of that, another improvement is the integration of the Scenario Attachments which allows bundling of all the assets with the scenario file to make the game even more user-friendly.
