I am having what appears to be the same issue. I can start the game, but only see 2/3 of the screen, as if the resolution was not sharp enough. Resolution is set to 1920 x 1080. Last time I played was before Admiral's Edition, had no time to get in an play it for years.

Just upgraded from Win8.1 to W10 so I am not sure where or when the issue may have occurred. Seems there is talk of playing with parameters. I searched for this PDF and could not locate it.

Any ideas? Thanks!

The info is not in the manual as it was added post-release. ... find whatsnew.pdf in your main game folder.
Public link for you...

Make a shortcut to the game exe ... and then put in the parameters needed...

GOOD LUCK ...

I use Windows 10 and had to disable display scaling on high DPI settings.

(Hopefully the image is attached and might be of help to you...)

What is the resolution of your screen? How does it compare to the switches you are using in the Target line in your shortcut?

See the post above by Damien (n01487477).

Get the native resolution of your screen by right clicking on the desktop and choosing screen resolution.
Then use those numbers to fill out the -px and -py tags as described by n01487477 above.

What you are seeing is likely caused by having a -px number that is more pixels high than your screen is capable of displaying.

I just upgraded to Win 10 as well; the game fills all of my large rectangular screen and resolution seems OK, but I'm experiencing an annoying delay when clicking and scrolling.

I have a dual core HP, so does anyone know what are the command lines that I need to put after .exe" on the Quick Start menu to correct this?

Lot's of info on the needed switches in these threads:

You will have to try and see which ones work for your situation.
