I'm Great Britain and it is my Reinf Phase. I just got control of Egypt and Cyranacia. I need to place the factors for those countries. The buttons on the lower left that are usually visible during this phase are not there...in other words, I can't garison the cities of these two minors. I can place their corps and fill them up, but I can't transfer factors from the corps to the cities, or place factors directly into the cities...anyone seen this? Is there a work around?

Cyrenaica's factors that she starts with won't all fit in the city. Only 5 will (it's a 1-spire city). Egypt's will only fit if you split them up. The cities area all 3-spire (holding 15 factors), but Egypt starts with 20. You have to put at most 15 into one of the corps, and the rest into the other one. In addition, loose factors could be place into the cities, but only if there is not also a 15-factor corps present IN the city.

So you cant transfer factors from your own corps eighter to Garrison ?
The icon is missing ? Weird.

Im not sure, i seem to remember in top bar you can switch bit back and forth, able to see changes from last players turn ?
Maybe you somehow hit that ?

Sounds weird.

i understand that not all factors will fit in the cities...but i can't even put a single factor into any of the cities right now...very confused...it's almost as if since my Major power (Britain) doesn't have any factors to place, then the buttons won't be made available, even though i have Minor factors to place...

(edit) you seem to be implying that the corps must be filled up before the garisons are placed?

In reinforcement phase you should have the icons for that phase, no matter if your nation or minor dont have any factors to be placed.

How else do you transfer factors between fleets/corps etc ?

Do you use same patch as the host ? And other players ?
OOps you host. Well question is then do all use 1.02G ?

reloaded game, now buttons are visible...strange...

i'm pretty sure i'm still on the 1.02 beta release...been using it for a week or so without noticing this....but i'm playing others that have patched up to the official patch, so maybe that's an issue...i didn't reboot before reloading the game...

Oh, i thoughts we all playing 1.02G.
There is no official 1.02.

Anyway sometimes it seems to help exit game and start on fresh.
In one game i saw Turkey fleet having icon like it still had corps load after his land move.
Then i exited, loaded it fresh later and the icon was gone.
I think one problem can also be if you load one game, then when done, you load next game.
Say game1 and game2, or just hotseat-vs ai game3, sometimes im not sure it reset all settings, so as precaution i always exit EIANW between loading my pbm games.

No, I (mistakenly) inferred that you had already filled the corps up.

With Bresh's question and your clarification, I can withdraw that. However, it seems to me that what you have here is a bug. I think Matrix would want to see a saved game, if you have one.
