WitE is regular windowed Windows application!

Thus you can always do the flowing:

#1 PrtSc
This saves the whole desktop to clipboard - just open the, for example, Microsoft Pain and select Paste!

#1 Alt + PrtSc
This saves just the active window (in our case just WitE window) to clipboard - just open the, for example, Microsoft Pain and select Paste!

Yeah, I was hoping for a "save entire map at my zoom level" button.

But how do people do these enormous screenshots that are in some posts here? Do they have an enormous screen (like are they playing the game on their 42" flat tv... hmm that was an idea, wonder what my wife would say...? ).

Hi all,

We use so called photo merge software for combining several small pictures into one big one...

One guy was using a 21 inch screen, they take large screenies

then open a large canvas in paint

cut and paste screenies onto it,anchoring the last paste as you go

I'd like to review the tactical situation on my iPad during my morning and afternoon commute. Take screenshot, upload to iTunes and browse. I don't want to Photoshop seventy bajillion fragments into a whole. I did that once to make a giant map, but I don't want to do it every turn :)

by the way what software do you use for the maps you include in AARs ?

I'd love to find one that is both easy to use and where I could paint decent arrows to indicate objectives, army moves and so on

Paint.net seems to do a decent job.

For people stitching map images, has anyone tried Microsoft's Image Composite Editor?

Hate to say it but http://www.techsmith.com/snagit/ Snag it seems the best for arrows. Theres a free trial for a month so I would use that.

Just had a thought maybe you could make a video or a slideshow. To fit in the panaramic view easily.

EDIT

I just dragged a load of screenshots into Windows Movie Maker, you can then auto create movie,it then makes a slideshow, perhaps this helps.
