I'm amazed at all the locking of threads that's going on. Some deserve it without question. However, I can't say anymore cause this might get locked. Strange times we live in now. Lots of anger and frustration.

Having a place to socialize without the political part is great for me. I learn many things about different parts of the world without having to go there which is good since I have difficulties traveling now.

If the moderator believes that a thread should be locked there should be no question or public challenge? If it gets a ban it is not the moderators fault?

Especially for those who believe they are more important than everyone and intentionally post to get threads locked.
And, most definitely to simply make comments that are all about them and what they want. But, never about the rules that we all should follow?

Stop wasting the moderators time and just follow the rules. That is the best advice that anyone can give. It will also help to reduce the amount of locked threads?

If it is not locked and the reason stated, I am sure that you can always send a pm to ask why and ask if any offending posts/material be removed if that is possible.

I think it it is fair to issue a warning, or warnings before shutting a thread down. Most of the time the moderators give hints or an explanation as to the reason for a warning that gives posters a chance at being reasonable about the request, it's a big problem if it is the moderator is the one with an attitude. I do enjoy discussions even if they are not mine. There are times when the thread has a matter that can not be poked even though it is the big fat elephant in the room that is being held as sanctimonious like: Turning your back to your nation's flag at a time when it should be celebrated. Now tell me somebody did not do that and expect me to honor the sport, it's already sullied with no taking it back no matter what other sport is being competed for, none the less I try to be understanding even though it is something I find distasteful and move on in life.

It's actually the Groningen coat of arms in the avatar. It's funny to read a comment from a people/person who are so proud of their flag (coat of arms) that would burn their own flag just to be spiteful. At least that's how I see it.

In actuality, it really must have no value if they are willing to do that.

If that person does not value their and if it is different than mine, then why should I value and respect theirs?

Because you have your own standards, and principles, and try to adhere to them as best as you can?

Edit: And hope that you are judged by your own actions.

Well someone always start a thread - Etc I'm Canadian- there is always coat of arms against or flag against. EX: If I say I'm very liberal then right wing will jump or the opposite. It is the nature of forums. Topics too much emphasize one identity or nation not good. Should be more liberal, at least for wargaming.

If you had not noticed the forum is called: "General Discussions". As far as I can tell, there has been nothing really, really, really nasty written in this thread. There's been a few thoughts expressed maybe some hit home to others for different reasons, heck that's what a discussion is all about.

What kind of tea? Hot? Iced? Sweet? Unsweet? Green? That is important and will tell us a lot about you.

Currently: Pure Leaf, Unsweetened Black Tea. Lemon slice, ice.
Winter: Hot (of course). English Breakfast my go to. Any funky flavors, like to add 15% almond milk, want it very hot.

Watching UFC at the moment

Sometimes sugar, usually not. Honey, sometimes if I have it but I want real honey and not honey flavored corn syrup. Lemon, sometimes if I have it. Hot? yes. Cold? Yes. Hot then cooled to room temperature? yes. Tisanes? yes. A bump? Sometimes if I have it.
