Vive l'Empereur!!!

Vive l'Empereur!!!

A toast to the brave French of Austerlitz! We owe much to them for their sacrifices and courage expressed in their marvelous and glorious feat of arms 200 years ago today!

The Sun of Austerlitz shined its light for the whole world to see that the decrepit ancien regime was nothing more than a sad anachronism.

The next dozen rounds are on me!

Vive l'Empereur!!!

Vive l'Empereur!!!

Quite right. The Beaujolais Nouveau was excellent this year.

I like Merlot, but what the heck I'll give it a try.

Here is a link to the recent reenactment of the battle of Austerlitz.

The reenactment took place on the northern end of the original battlefield just south of the Santon.
