I'm playing the Union side, in the very small scenerio, the one that only starts with a few units and stuff.

As the Union, I built a "runner", to try and grab some stuff, which I know I will need later on.

Here's the pic of the runner on the "military" screen:

Then when I click on the location, which is Brooklyn, and go to the unit itself on the map, this is what I see:

Having never built a runner before, I'm curious to know what is going on here. When I click on that empty spot and move out to see, I see no arrows going anywhere nor any pluder at sea.

What could be happening here?

Thanks,

Alanb

In the previous version of the game there was a bug that allowed the US player to build blockade runners -- this should be fixed in the newest build.  There are no graphics for US blockade runners because they normally shouldn't exist!

I see. But the option is still there. So the money is wasted? Why not have this as an option, to have or have not blockade runners?

I'd say because blockade runners are exactly that, blockade runners. The north was not blockaded and could trade normally.
