Caius is dead. But the profession of the consultant, perhaps the second oldest profession, lives on!

Wouldn't that be the third oldest profession? I thought politician was the 2nd oldest profession, and bears a remarkable resemblance to the first. You can take a good guess at what the first oldest profession is.

I'm pretty sure that consultants came before politicians... you know, the know-it-all neighbor who can't help but tell you how he would do it!

This reminds me a hell of a lot like where I work.

Library has always had a head librarian to run the...library. City is running into debt and rather than get a new librarian, they decided to use the city assistant manager to run the library...

I swear, they're reinventing the wheel here.
