hello guys,

After a long time without WITPAE i want to start a new Guadalcanal game.

I will play as the allied.

Can someone give me some tips, what to do, and what not to do?

Can someone tell me how to Speed up airfield building at Lunga?

I have 3 BF and 5! Seabee Units there but they expand the airfield VERY slow..

how much supply? getting bombed? bombardment missions? lots of damage not yet repaired? every eng is on combat?

is day by day game building is not fast.

Every ENG on combat...Supply now is 7060 by 3900 required.

They are building, 1% per day.

In the same time i expand cairns with only 2 Engs but there they are lot faster despite short on supply.

No bombings, no attacks at all.

I think the max AF size for Lunga in the Guadalcanal scenario is much lower than the campaign game. You may already be past the "standard" size (which is the number in the parenthesis to the right of the current size. Once you reach that level the construction slows way down, until you hit the max size which is the "standard" size +3.

Yes, it could only be build to 3 i think, i tried to compensate this with massive engineer numbers.

It seems Guadalcanal is the only island there which can be used as a nearly main base, all other islands on the way to Rabaul are quite useless, because all of them are 0(0).

Can someone tell me to get rid of this BILLION (R) troops and how do I get rid of these mountains of B-17 squadrons for which I have simply no room and no supplies???

I want to build up cairns for a 5 Airfield and all the supplies are eaten up!!!
