Per the Manual & in game details, Sc.'s 1-4 have reinforcements arriving up to 88 turns ( days ) after the Sc. starts; but the Sc.'s last 40 to 64 ( ish ) days only. I know that Sc. 1 will "extend" by 1-3 days ( at least ),
but do the Sc.'s extend to the point ( & beyond ) that the later reinforcements arrive ? I presume they must or else there would be no use in having these reinforcements - can anyone confirm this is so?

I have answered my own query regarding reinforcements!!

As it is not noted in the Manual or the readme notes, I am listing my findings for any other players who have not found out yet !

On the Scenario selection screen, selecting the extended campaign option
only defaults the campaign to 1805, with an extension date of 5th Dec. 05.
Selecting Sc. 1,2 or 4 and the extended campaign option extends each Sc. to 14th July 09.
Selecting Sc. 5,6 or 7 and the extended campaign extends each Sc. to 5th Dec. 05.
Sc. 3 does not extend.

Hence the 1809 reinforcements do have a use.

I suspect that most people have found out that

:-

a) failure to select your side as French or Coalition defaults to French.
b) failure to select Fog of War for one or both sides defaults to Minimal
for both sides.
