Open to the first 10 players who sign up. Nation, time and place of the battle along with any constraints (e.g. 10% arty, no air etc) are up to the players. This is a playoff system so if you lose ... you lose. Add yourself to the roster by posting to this thread.

The winner will get a prize.

Status: offline 		Count me in! I've never played against a human opponent but I do want to try this! I'd like to play Finland with no aircraft nor air support. Artillery 10 % sounds good. Is the game going to be PBEM?

Status: offline 		Well enough time spent waiting. Since we only have 4 players, the tournamnet format will be as in the following. We play each other, a win counts as a point. At the end there will be 2 players left to compete for the title.

If above format is acceptable, we can start.

First round:
Ironfist vs red2
SteelPanther vs VokingNo2

Only 4? Where did you guys advertise for this at? I saw something at the SPWAW Depot but not anywhere else?

Maybe everyone is busy with SPMBT or one of the new releases but with the SPWAW following here and at the SPWAW Depot I would have thought more would have volunteered. Could also be it's summer now.

I didn't want to start a direct mail campaign for it :D so we'll start with 4, the new format will allow us to introduce new players if they appear.

I can post something over at SZO if you want to see if it can add some more players. I think most of them are sitting by the mailbox waiting for their SPMBT CD's but I know many of them also play SPWAW since most of the games reported on our ladder are for SPWAW.

I prefer to play with Germans any year. I like large games. Min. 8,200 pts or better. Cross buys are ok,but from only countries that were actually with Axis or Allies. Exp. Axis- Norway-Cezchs-Fin ect. Allies England-France-Canada ect. Let me know what prefs-settings you would like. (myself Sept 1943)

I would appreciate if you spread the word around. All the player has to do is announce their participation on this thread. BTW would you like to participate?

The format of the championship:
Time, place, nations are up to the opponents.
Win is equal to 1 point. There will be first 3 rounds after which 0-1 pts players will be eliminated so one would need 2 out of 3 victories to proceed further.

SteelPanther: Has VikingNo2 gotten back to you yet, he posted his email earlier.

81mm mortor fire. We now have their forward batterys sighted in. All other objectives have

been reached. Heavy Bombardment at the end of our orders and movement Phase. Das ist
