Many years ago, when UV was the latest hot thing, I joined the forums as elcid. Several years ago,
this username became useless and I was even told it was not mine at one point, but someone else
entirely. So I created el cid again and became a user again.

Yesterday, on all my systems (half a dozen), el cid again died. Never mind I save all my data in
an MS Excel file, and am certain of the password, and never mind it is saved as a cookie on all the
systems. But - elcid was born again at the same time - and the password - which failed to work
for something like seven years - now works again.

This might indicate some sort of technical problem or restore of old data. It obviously is not critical
if I am the only one affected by it.
